David A. Jensen, Owner, DAJ Hockey
David A. Jensen founded DAJ Hockey, LLC in 2012 and has seen it progress to one of New England's premier hockey instruction companies. In addition to his efforts with DAJ Hockey, David is a contributing member of the Boston Bruins Alumni Team and is a USA Hockey certified director.
David attended Belmont Hill School and then Lawrence Academy HS and is widely regarded as one of the top schoolboy players in New England hockey history. In 1984, Jensen teamed up with Pat Lafontaine and Eddie Olczyk on the famed "Diaper Line," as a key member of the 1984 US Olympic Hockey team. He scored a team-leading five goals in six Olympic hockey games. David was a first round draft pick as a 17-year-old high school junior at Lawrence Academy by the Hartford Whalers in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft. He played eight injury-plagued pro hockey seasons with the Hartford Whalers, Washington Capitals and Boston Bruins organizations. He also played for the 1984 Team USA Canada Cup team. In 2016, David Jensen was inducted into the Massachusetts Hockey Hall of Fame. David and his wife Eileen are the proud parents of Tori and Ryan Jensen. |
