Dave Jensen has been named Hockey Consultant/Associate Coach of the Boston Pride of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL).
The Pride's roster feature several of high-profile women's hockey stars, including US Olympians Hilary Knight, Gigi Marvin, Kacey Bellamy and Brianna Decker. According to Jensen, "It is a real privilege to work with the highly-skilled and dedicated athletes on the Pride. Throughout training camp, I have been incredibly impressed with the caliber of play in the NWHL -- and I know Boston-area hockey fans will be, as well." Jensen joins an experienced staff that includes Head Coach Bobby Jay and Assistant Coach Lauren McAuliffe. The Pride will play its home game at the Bright Hockey Center at Harvard University. The Pride and the NWHL debut this Sunday in Buffalo, NY as the Pride battle the Buffalo Beauts. A member of the 1984 US Olympic Team and a 9-year pro hockey veteran, Jensen is also the owner of DAJ Hockey in Foxboro Massachusetts. Comments are closed.
