"What I like most about the DAJ Camps and Skills sessions is that the DAJ team corrects mistakes kids are making that they don't get to work on in normal team practices. The DAJ staff helps my son with these adjustments in his shooting and passing techniques and the results are amazing. Having been a professional tennis player, I understand the importance of approaching skill developments the right way and continuously improving your skill level the right way. Another thing I really like is that while the DAJ Camps have grown in popularity, they maintain their 4:1 player-to-coach ratio. There's not a lot of standing around. The players maintain a good heart rate and it keeps them working hard. Glen Featherstone keeps them laughing while he challenges them and pushes them to improve . The kids really respond to him and the DAJ staff and they seem to improve with every session." Jill H. Hockey Mom Each month DAJ Hockey names its "Hot Shot" hockey player. This recognition is for the DAJ hockey player who has shown exceptional effort a positive attitude and significant skill improvement.

It seems like so-called "shooting experts" are everywhere. We are very aware of them because we have a steady stream of parents bringing their kids to us to fix the damage done by these well-publicized "experts." Recently, we had an elite prep school player come to us -- her confidence shattered after spending considerable time and money with a well-known shooting guru. Within a few weeks we were able to rebuild her confidence and mechanics. The result: this player had added 10 MPH to their shot, dramatically increased her accuracy and developed a lightning-quick release. Thrilled to see the significant improvement in their young hockey player, her parents joked "We should sue (her previous instructor) for malpractice!" The old axiom that "perfect practice makes perfect" is what we stress. Taking a lot of shots is of little use if your mechanics are flawed. Dave Jensen, Glen Featherstone and the DAJ staff focus on the fundamentals young young hockey players needs to master to maximize their shot and score more goals. Their personalized training efforts are aided by the high-tech Rapid Shot technology that tracks every shot for velocity and accuracy. Check out the DAJ Skills Center and see how we have helped hundreds of young players become better hockey players. Try our 5-session Bronze package and see how quickly your hockey player will shoot harder, more accurately and with a lightning-quick release. Located in the Foxboro Sports Center, the DAJ Hockey Skills Center is the premier off-ice training facility in New England. DAJ Skills Centers are owned and operated by US Olympian and USA Hockey certified Director Dave Jensen. *To schedule a FREE consultation, e-mail Dave Jensen to set up a 15-minute demo session and receive a personal skills assessment. |
